Ahead of their long awaited return, we caught up with Testament guitarist Eric Peterson for a chat about the band’s love for Aussie fans, tour memories and what’s still on the horizon.
Eric Peterson didn’t hold back when talking about what keeps Testament coming back Down Under. “Australia has this wild energy we don’t see anywhere else. The crowds are intense but there’s this great vibe, people are there to let loose, and we feel that onstage every night.”
Peterson shared stories of favourite cities (shout out to Melbourne and Sydney), epic shows and how the metal scene here has grown since their first visit.
The June run of Aussie shows promises to deliver Testament at full power. The band will tear through Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth and fans can expect a set stacked with classics, deep cuts and maybe even a surprise or two. And for those hanging out for new material? Eric hints that a follow up to Titans of Creation isn’t too far off.
