Dream Theater has shared a new music video for their track ‘Bend The Clock’ from their recent album Parasomnia.
Dream Theater has shared a new music video for their track ‘Bend The Clock’ from their sixteenth studio album Parasomnia, which was released back in February this year.
The music video, directed by Erez Bader, provides a visual into the storyline of the concept album. The video opens with the central protagonist having recurring haunting dreams of his family, while also seemingly being experimented on outside of the dream.
The band also make an appearance in the video, showing up on a very cheesy-looking green screen. As the video fades out, live footage of the band seeps in as guitarist John Petrucci plays out the song with one of Dream Theater’s famous soaring solos.

Dream Theater will be bringing their 40th Anniversary Tour to Australia in February, marking their first visit with their iconic lineup, including Mike Portnoy, in 15 years. The tour will be presented as An Evening With Dream Theater, with the band performing a career-spanning set of classics and fan favourites.
“The excitement we have felt from the fans since the first leg of this tour was announced has been overwhelming! Now we get to bring the show to our fans all across the world, and play a bunch of cities that we haven’t been together in for more than a decade. We can’t wait to continue this historic celebration of 40 years together with everyone in Asia and Australia next year. We still have plenty of more exciting Dream Theater news to share in the coming weeks,” the band explained.
With Portnoy back in the fold, Aussie fans (myself included) are in for a treat to see the band break out several deep cuts throughout their 40-year discography.
