Bad Omens have shared a teaser for a new upcoming single titled ‘Impose’, with a potential release date for September 10th.

Bad Omens seem to have been cooking and is teasing what could could potentially be a second single from an upcoming album very soon.

The band shared a new teaser yesterday for their upcoming single ‘Impose’ with the date September 10th.

The teaser includes a woman speaking what sounds like Slovenian, sitting in a darkly lit staircase while smoking. Yep, that’s all we’ve got for now. Thankfully, we’ll only have to wait one more day to find out what it all means.

Bad Omens also shared their track ‘Specter‘ last month, which featured Sons of Anarchy actor Ryan Hurst. This was the band’s first new non-collaborative single since their RIAA Gold-certified album The Death of Peace of Mind, which pushed Bad Omens to global prominence.

The 2022 record has amassed over 2.7 billion streams worldwide and includes the Platinum-certified number one Alternative Radio single ‘Just Pretend’, along with Gold singles ‘Like A Villain’ and ‘Death of Peace of Mind’. In 2024, Bad Omens expanded the album’s universe with Concrete Jungle [The OST], showcasing their experimental edge.

Now, to throw a spanner into the hypetrain, singer Noah Sebastian did recently share on a State the Scene‘s July 3rd podcast that the next Bad Omen’s record was not done yet. So, while all these singles are a good sign the group are cooking up something and plans to release it, it’s anyone’s guess as to when it could be released.

Just recently, Spite announced their new record is set to be released on October 31st, just four months after sharing on Instagram that they had finished recording for the album. Of course, Bad Omens is a very different band, but who’s to say quick turnarounds don’t exist?
