Elden Ring: Nightreign Deep of Night Update: Everything New

Elden Ring: Nightreign‘s Deep of Night mode is set to shake up a lot of what players know about completing a run in the game. One of the ways the new mode will change players’ experience is that they won’t know which Night Lord they’re facing until the battle begins. All that time you’ve spent theorycrafting and tailoring your build for each boss? Out the window, you have to be ready for anything the game throws at you.
More powerful enemies will also appear throughout your run. You’ll get to pick up new weapons to dispatch them; however, those same weapons will have a detrimental effect on players, which could also make battles tougher. As you can expect, the longer and deeper your runs go on, the harder the challenges become.
On the balance side of things, FromSoftware released a massive list of Elden Ring: Nightreign update’s patch notes you can read here. Most notable were some changes to the Everdark Sovereign Libra boss, which aimed to tune down his Condemned warriors. They will be far easier to take down now and will even drop items after being killed.
If you love your tanky boys, you’re also in luck. The Guardian class hero will also be receiving increased strength and dexterity after levelling up, as well as a larger range for their ultimate art’s attack.
FromSoftware has also adjusted penalties for players who drop out of matches, even if their connection was disrupted. These penalties are removed if the player rejoins the session, so people with spotty internet have a chance to redeem themselves while playing Elden Ring: Nightreign Deep of Night, at least.
