The PlayStation September State of Play just wrapped, giving us new looks at games like Saros, Battlefield 6‘s campaign, and of course, the hugely anticipated Wolverine game from Insomniac Games.
PlayStation surprise announced a September State of Play yesterday, confirming the broadcast for 7am AEST. So, if you weren’t up at the crack of dawn following live, worry not, we’ve got all the big reveals for you below.
Both Nintendo and Xbox have had recent showcases, revealing a variety of games and new hardware to get us excited for the last few months of 2025, while also sharing what’s to come in 2026.
Leading up to Sony‘s PlayStation State of Play, fans were speculating (some might even say begging) for an update from Insomniac Games on their next Spider-Man game, or any information about a new God of War title.
Well, we didn’t exactly get Spider-Man, but we the studio finally gave us our first look at the upcoming Wolverine game, and it’s looking like a bloody good time. The trailer also revealed Australia’s own Liam McIntyre will be playing the X-Men legend.
We also got a long look at the gameplay in Housemarque’s upcoming sci-fi title Saros, and I have to say, it’s looking very solid.
So, while we didn’t exactly get a Bloodborne 2 announcement, there’s still plenty to check out and appreciate. You can catch the full PlayStation September State of Play below, or check out all the neat individual trailers instead.
