Lola Young Cancels Upcoming Shows After Onstage Collapse at All Things Go

Lola Young has cancelled all shows after collapsing at All Things Go in order to recover and “come back stronger.”

Lola Young has announced she is stepping away from live performances, canceling all upcoming shows following a collapse onstage during her set at All Things Go in New York City.

The 23-year-old English singer shared the update in a statement posted to social media on earlier today, saying her health had to come first. “I’m going away for a while. It pains me to say I have to cancel everything for the foreseeable future,” she wrote. “I’m sorry to let anyone down who has bought a ticket to see me, it hurts me more than you know.”

“Obviously you will be entitled to a full refund….I really hope you’ll give me a second chance once I’ve had some time to work on myself and come back stronger. Love you all, Lola x.”

The announcement followed an incident over the weekend when Young appeared to faint mid-performance. She had opened her set by speaking openly about the struggles she has been facing. “Sometimes life can really make you feel like you can’t continue, but you know what, today I woke up and I made the decision to come here,” she told the audience. “Sometimes life can throw you lemons, and you just gotta make lemonade.”

After the incident, Young immediately pulled out of the Maryland edition of All Things Go, where she had been scheduled to perform the next day. Her team also confirmed she had been withdrawn from Audacy’s We Can Survive concert in New Jersey as a “protective measure to keep her safe,” citing mental health concerns.

The decision effectively cancels Lola Young’s entire North American tour, which was due to begin in November in support of her new album I’m Only F**cking Myself. Fans who purchased tickets will receive full refunds.

Since her announcement, support has poured in from across the music world. Hayley Kiyoko wrote, “We aren’t going anywhere. You are so loved!” Artists including Sam Carter from Architects, Tinashe, and Lukalu also sent messages of encouragement for her.

Young isn’t the only artist to step back from the stage to prioritise their health in recent years – Lewis Capaldi did the same, only recently returning to the limelight.
