Paleface Swiss And Stick To Your Guns Unite For Charity Single ‘Instrument Of War’

Paleface Swiss have teamed up with Stick To Your Guns for new single ‘Instrument Of War,’ with all proceeds going to Doctors Without Borders.

Paleface Swiss have barely slowed down since the release of their 2025 breakthrough Cursed, later expanded into CURSED – The Complete Edition. After tearing through Europe, nearly selling out an Australian tour, making a stop in Mexico, and shifting over 35,000 tickets in the US, the band is lining up their next chapter: a huge European run with Stick To Your Guns.

The two bands’ creative connection didn’t just stay on the stage. During their US tour together, Paleface Swiss vocalist Marc “Zelli” Zellweger and Stick To Your Guns frontman Jesse Barnett hit the studio, writing what became the crushing new single ‘Instrument Of War.’ Produced by the band’s manager Marco Bayati and mixed by Landmvrks’ Florent Salfati, the track combines Paleface Swiss’s trademark intensity with Jesse’s unmistakable vocals.

The title pulls from a Pablo Picasso quote that Jesse brought into the fold while on tour: “No, painting is not done to decorate apartments. It is an instrument of war for attack and defence against the enemy.” That idea set the tone not only for the song but also for the video, directed by band manager Kriss Jakob.

Beyond its sonic weight, ‘Instrument Of War’ has a direct charitable purpose. Every cent from the single will be donated to Doctors Without Borders, supporting their emergency medical work in conflict zones worldwide. There’s also a limited-edition charity shirt available now, with all profits going to the same cause.

In a joint statement, Zelli and Jesse said: “No, painting is not done to decorate apartments. It is an instrument of war for attack and defence against the enemy. We felt like we both relate to this. Our music isn’t just some shit to put on in the background. It’s something real that comes from a real place, and it’s meant to attack the things that divide us and defend all the things that bring us together.”

“Paleface Swiss has generally avoided taking explicit political positions – especially given how complex things are today. But Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) provides care to people affected by conflict, disease outbreaks, natural and human-made disasters, and mental health crises. That kind of direct, human-first action is something we deeply respect.”

“That said, both Stick To Your Guns and Paleface Swiss share clear values. As we mentioned, we stand for what’s right – whether that means supporting mental health (a core focus for Paleface Swiss) or speaking out against oppression and violence. For those who know our bands, this song already carries those messages. That’s why it felt like the right vehicle for something bigger – and why it made sense to use it to give back.”
