Kings Of Leon Drop First EP In Over Two Decades, ‘EP #2’

Share

Kings of Leon have released EP #2, their first EP in over two decades and first ever self produced project under their new label, Love Tap Records. The four track collection is out now on all platforms.

Kings of Leon have returned with their first extended play in over twenty years, a self-produced four track project titled ‘EP #2’, out now via the band’s own label, Love Tap Records, distributed through Virgin Music.

Marking a new chapter for the multi-platinum, GRAMMY winning rock outfit, EP #2 is their first independent release and features the band taking full creative control, recording and producing everything themselves for the first time.

The new collection includes ‘All The Little Sheep’, ‘To Space’, ‘Pit To The Rind’, and ‘The Wolf’, four tracks that reportedly showcase Kings of Leon’s raw, instinctive side, leaning into the grit and warmth that shaped their early years. The release arrives off the back of their recent collaborations with Zach Bryan on ‘We’re Onto Something’ and ‘Bowery’, the latter debuting at #1 on Spotify in the US.

The band and Bryan also shared the stage for several sold out US stadium shows earlier this year, performing both collaborations live for the first time.

With EP #2, Kings of Leon continue the momentum following their 2024 full length record Can We Please Have Fun, which drew praise for its looser, more experimental edge. The new EP reinforces that same ethos, seasoned musicians rediscovering the joy of making music on their own terms.

Kings of Leon will close out 2025 with a pair of New Year’s Eve shows at The Venetian Theatre in Las Vegas on December 30 and 31, capping off a landmark year for the band.
