Disturbed frontman David Draiman has officially tied the knot, celebrating an outdoor wedding with his partner Sarah Uli over the weekend, marking a new chapter for one of metal’s most recognisable voices.
Fans woke on Monday to a wave of photos shared across social media, offering a rare, intimate look at the day.

Draiman first hinted at the ceremony on Sunday, posting a group dinner shot on Instagram alongside Sarah with the caption: ‘Marrying this goddess today.’ The comment section immediately lit up with love from the broader heavy music world, Rob Caggiano, Nita Strauss, Chris Daughtry, Jason Hook, Jonny Hawkins, the Godsmack camp and Adam Gontier all dropping in their congratulations.
By Monday, Draiman made it official with another post, this time showing moments from the wedding itself. He kept the caption short and sweet: ‘Married ❤️’. Sarah shared her own view of the day through Instagram Stories, posting a string of photos and videos capturing everything from pre wedding calm to post ceremony glow, she also updated her account to reflect her new name, Sarah Draiman.
A Journey Back to Happiness
For long time Disturbed fans, this marriage marks the close of a turbulent chapter, Draiman separated from model and actress Lena Yada in 2023, ending an eleven year marriage. Their son, Samuel Bear Isamu Draiman, was born in 2013, and Draiman later opened up publicly about navigating single life via Tinder, joking about scammers while also acknowledging the emotional toll of divorce and losing his dog, a companion of fourteen years.
Things shifted in early 2024 when Draiman confirmed his relationship with Sarah Uli, a model with a strong marketing background and a Business degree from Bryan College. The pair quickly became a familiar presence in each other’s lives, leading to a massive moment earlier this year: Draiman proposing onstage during Disturbed’s 9 May show in Sacramento. Pausing between ‘The Sound of Silence’ and ‘The Light’, he brought Sarah onstage, telling the crowd: ‘She’s looking at me and she’s wondering, “What the f**k is he doing?”’ Moments later came the full proposal, equal parts heartfelt, theatrical and unmistakably Draiman.
A year of transformation has ended with the frontman saying ‘I do’, and the metal community’s response makes it clear: they’re cheering right alongside him.
