Mumford & Sons Announce 2026 Australia & New Zealand ‘Prizefighter’ Tour

Mumford & Sons are gearing up for a full return to Australia and New Zealand, confirming a three date run for April and May 2026 in support of their new album Prizefighter.

The British folk-rock heavyweights will be joined by rising local favourites Folk Bitch Trio across all shows, the announcement follows their sold out, one night only comeback at the Sydney Opera House earlier this year. A reminder of just how fierce demand remains for the Grammy winning band, now they’re bringing the full arena production back to Melbourne, Sydney and Auckland, marking some of 2026’s most anticipated live events.

Along the way, they’ve collaborated with Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Joni Mitchell and Pharrell Williams, building long term creative partnerships that continue to shape their sound. Their history of global touring and intimate community stopovers has become a defining thread in their story, no matter how much their music shifts, live performance remains at the heart of who they are.

Mumford & Sons’ Prizefighter Tour kicks off Saturday, April 25th at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena, hits Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena on Wednesday, April 29th and wraps up on Saturday May 2nd at Auckland’s Spark Arena.

Presales begins tomorrow, Wednesday December 3rd at 10am for Mastercard cardholders, Vodafone customers and One NZ customers, with multiple partner presales continuing through Thursday, December 4th

An artist presale also runs from Wednesday, December 3rd until Friday, December 5th at 10am, General public tickets go on sale Friday, December 5th at 11am local time via Secret Sounds and Live Nation.

The tour arrives just after the release of their upcoming album Prizefighter, which is out February 13th via Gentlemen of the Road/Island Records. Co-produced with Aaron Dessner of The National and featuring appearances from Hozier, Gracie Abrams, Chris Stapleton and Gigi Perez, the album marks a prolific new chapter for the band, arriving less than a year after 2025’s Rushmere.
