A world-exclusive Yungblud photography exhibition is arriving in Sydney this January, featuring never-before-seen photos by Tom Pallant.
Yungblud fans will have a brand-new way to experience the artist’s world, with Behind The Gallery announcing ‘YUNGBLUD: IDOLS’, a world-exclusive photography exhibition arriving in Sydney in January – just in time for the artist’s tour to hit Sydney’s shores. The showcase will take place in Newtown between 8-11 January, marking the first time celebrated British photographer Tom Pallant has presented this work in a physical gallery setting.
Captured over the past 18 months, the exhibition highlights personal snapshots and major moments from Yungblud’s journey surrounding his massive latest chapter. Pallant has worked closely with the musician as a photographer and creative director, giving him rare access that has translated into intense, tender, and deeply personal images.
The collection will cover everything from off-stage vulnerability to the chaotic highs of live performance, revealing what life has looked like behind the scenes as Yungblud continues to solidify his place as a defining figure in modern alt-rock.

Pallant says bringing the Yungblud exhibition to Australia first carries special meaning. “Being able to showcase the IDOLS world physically for the first time is really special – especially in Australia, where fans have been some of the most supportive since Yungblud’s inception.” He adds, “This collection has taken shape over the last 18 months throughout the recording and writing process, the initial release, and the first shows where these songs were played live. Stepping into the IDOLS world has been an incredible experience. Building it from the ground up has been deeply rewarding, and we’re so excited to finally share these images, some of which will be seen for the first time.”
Behind The Gallery says the four-day experience aims to merge music culture with fine-art presentation. “Tom Pallant’s photography uniquely captures the raw emotional and electric energy of Yungblud who has taken the world by storm, and we’re thrilled to bring this immersive experience to Australia,” said Creative Director Stephen Dallimore. “It’s very rare that one photographer can tell an artist’s story like Tom can with Yungblud. Over four days, we’ll celebrate with fans these powerful images through photography, music, and storytelling”.
Alongside daily public viewing hours, the program includes an album playback session and a fan meet-up before Yungblud’s Sydney performances, giving attendees multiple ways to connect with the exhibition. You can check out more info here.
