Jack Osbourne Announces His Wife Is Pregnant With Their Second Child

Jack Osbourne has told the world that his second child is on their way – and Ozzy knew before he passed.

Here’s some good news for a change. Jack Osbourne, reality star and scion of rock royalty Ozzy Osbourne, has announced that his wife, Aree Gearheart, is pregnant with their second child. What’s more, they broke the news to Ozzy that he would be a grandfather again before the heavy metal pioneer passed away on July 22 at the age of 76.

UK tabloid The Sun broke the news while reporting on Jack’s exit from season 25 (Jesus…) of I‘m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! The baby is due in two months. It’ll be Jack’s fifth, a literal handful, having had three daughters already with former wife Lisa Stelly.

“It’s awesome,” Osbourne said. “It’s been partly a healthy distraction, partly healing – probably in that kind of ‘full cycle’ category, in a weird way. It’s very much taken energy out of the grieving side of things and parked in a bit more hopefulness. It’s been easy for me. It’s been a lot harder for my wife!

“We’re super-excited. It was sort of planned, I should say. It was maybe a little earlier than expected. But it’s something that we were wanting to pursue and somehow it happened, miraculously.”

Jack, Aree, and their three-year-old daughter, Maple, were reunited on Friday night just prior to Jack’s eviction from the reality TV series after 21 days spent in the primeval hell that is… Murwillumbah? That can’t be right. I’ve been there, and that place is downright charming as hell. These celebrities doth protest too much.

Jack did note that, despite being infamous for orally decapitating a bat back in the day, Ozzy would have struggled with some of I’m A Celeb‘s bush tucker menu, saying “Dad was a picky eater. So although he may have chosen to eat some strange things in his time, I don’t think he would have fared too well with that. I don’t know if you’ve tasted vomit fruit, it’s named that for a reason!”
