Yungblud has shared a Newtown location via his Instagram channel, telling Aussie fans to come along for a meetup.
Yungblud is about to hit Aussie shores ahead of the next leg of his Idols World Tour which sees him play Qudos Bank Arena on Saturday, but before that it looks like Sydney fans are in for a meetup with the star tomorrow.
Taking to his Instagram channel – which boasts almost 200 thousand members privy to all sorts of updates, voice notes, and intimate moments – the musician shared a Newtown address alongside the message: “If you’re in Aus tomorrow come.” He also included a selfie boasting a cutoff shirt that someone weathering the absolutely cooked heatwave we’re currently dealing with might wear to beat the heat.
The address itself is 551 King St, Newtown in NSW. On a quick search, this address turns up two different options: First National Real Estate Newtown, and then perhaps more relevantly, Behind The Gallery’s Yungblud: Idols photography exhibition by photographer Tom Pallant, which opens tomorrow.
Taking to his Instagram story as well, he confirmed that he’d be heading down to the exhibition at 12:30pm tomorrow to meet up with fans. If you’re keen to get up close and personal ahead of his show on Saturday this is your chance, and you can also check out some exclusive photos from the last 18 months of Yungblud’s life.
The exhibition kicks off tomorrow, 8 January, at 11am and runs until 5pm. It’s free entry and if you can’t make it down tomorrow, will run until 4pm on Sunday.
We’ll share any updates as they come through for those of you interested in attending and meeting Yungblud. It’s probably worth heading down nice and early as there’s bound to be some pretty hectic crowds lining up, if his previous appearances in Australia (or any fan meetup) are any indication.
