Enter Shikari Announce Biggest Australian Headline Tour To Date With Grandson

Share

UK alternative heavyweights Enter Shikari are returning to Australia this May for their biggest headline tour the country has seen from the band, locking in a full national run with genre disruptor grandson joining them across all dates.

Off the back of their 2024 Knotfest appearances, which reminded local crowds just how explosive Shikari remain live, the tour marks their first Australian headline run since 2022.

This time, they’re pushing further, hitting capital cities and some more regional stops alike, a move that reflects both their growing audience and their refusal to play it safe.

From their DIY roots to arena level innovation, Enter Shikari have spent nearly two decades tearing holes between punk, post-hardcore, electronic and metal, all while carrying a message that’s never shied away from unity, resistance, or progress.

That ethos still cuts through in 2026, and Australian crowds have consistently been some of the loudest to answer back.

Frontman Rou Reynolds is clearly feeling the pull of returning down under, saying (via press release):

“In May we’ll be heading back to Australia, our home away from home. We cannot wait to return and continue to explore, befriend, and create chaos, and in some towns and cities we’ve never been to before..”

The tour lands at a moment when Enter Shikari are operating at a creative and commercial peak, their 2023 album ‘A Kiss For The Whole World’ delivered the band their first ever UK number one, following the momentum of ‘Nothing Is True & Everything Is Possible’.

A global run followed, including a UK arena tour and a career defining headline show at Wembley Arena, later captured on ‘Live At Wembley’.

As 2026 unfolds, the band are quietly shaping what’s expected to become their eighth studio album.
