If you’ve ever wanted to watch Frenzal Rhomb rip through a deeply unhinged slice of Aussie punk history while floating across Sydney Harbour, Schooner Or Later 2026 is for you.
The long-running Sydney Harbour Cruise party is back on Sunday, February 15th, 2026 and this year’s lineup is a beautiful mess in the best way: Frenzal Rhomb returning to the boat for the first time since 2018, joined by Melbourne’s Mid Youth Crisis in what’s being described as “a combo never to be repeated”.
This kind of sounds like a warning and a promise all at the same time, the big hook here is Frenzal doing a full playthrough of their ‘Dick Sandwich’ EP from start to finish, a move that according to the event information will genuinely impress about 27 people worldwide (26 if you’re not including me).
You absolutely know that all of those people will be on that boat, and in even better news, they’re bringing back OG guitarist Ben Costello for the occasion, which should make the set feel less like a reunion and more like one of those family Christmas parties’ where everyone’s had too many.
Nothing normal for Frenzal
In true Frenzal fashion and not doing anything normally, Lindsay will be serving drinks while also, presumably, heckling Ben and demanding autographs mid-cruise, Punk rock hospitality at its finest.
After the EP run through, get ready for the rest of Frenzal’s so called “hits” to follow, we’re talking the kind of setlist that turns a sunny afternoon into a full-blown shout along, with beers sloshing and strangers becoming mates over choruses.
Support comes from Arse and Melvic Centre, rounding out a four hour session of riffs, sweat, and harbour views you probably won’t remember clearly the next day.
