“It’s finally happening all these years later, and I can’t wait to give Wayne and Tera what they wanted — a movie about their love and dedication to each other amidst the insane and wild world that they created,” said Zane.
Zane’s connection to the pair runs deep:
“Most people are unaware that I knew Wayne for about 14 years, and I actually knew his wife Tera before him,” Zane explained. “We were all close, and I worked on every project he did after leaving STATIC-X.”
Following Wayne Static’s departure from Static-X, Zane directed all of his solo music videos, including ‘Pighammer Promo,’ ‘Assassins of Youth,’ and ‘Noise Revolution’ featuring DMC, at the time of Wayne’s passing in 2014, the trio had reportedly been developing additional projects, including an unfinished docuseries focused on Wayne and Tera’s life together.
