Jimmy Eat World Just Performed At An Arby’s In Florida Last Night

Jimmy Eat World put on a surprise performance at an Arby’s in Florida last night, tearing the roof off the fast food restaurant with their pop-punk classics.

Jimmy Eat World gave the public what they wanted last night, as the 2000s pop-punk rockers put on a surprise show at an Arby’s in Daytona Beach, Florida.

Their performance came ahead of their planned appearance at the Daytona 500 and was a fun promotional stunt staged alongside JR Motorsports and their driver, Carson Kvapil, who is sponsored by Arby’s.

You can check out footage from the show posted by JR Motorsports on X / Twitter below:

If you’re like me, you’re also getting flashbacks to the infamous “Denny’s Grand Slam Death Metal Concert“, or that time Blink-182 paid homage to the viral video. Even if it’s a promotional stunt, it’s nice to see that it’s paying respect to the scene and the community.

In other Jimmy Eat World news, the band is gearing up for an extensive Bleed American 25th Anniversary tour, with Thrice, Hot Mulligan, Illuminati Hotties and more.

Following the announcement, the band issued a statement thanking fans for over 25 years of support and promising a special night for anyone who wants to sing along with them.

Lead vocalist and guitarist Jim Adkins would go on to say, “I feel like at this time in our lives, especially for me, it’s important to get back to a place that you can savour. This tour is designed to be an elevated version of our show, a heightened experience with production that reflects 25 years of learning how to stretch artistically in the live environment.”

As you can expect from the tour’s name, Jimmy Eat World plans to play the entire Bleed American album on tour, along with several other hits from their discography.

The tour is set to kick off on June 9th at Morrison, Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre. While it’s no Arby’s, fans should still be in for a great show from one of pop-punk’s great legacy acts.
