Arch Enemy Unveil New Singer Lauren Hart On ‘To The Last Breath’

Share

Arch Enemy have kicked open the door to a new era, revealing Lauren Hart as their new vocalist and dropping ferocious single ‘To The Last Breath’ alongside an official music video.

For a band that has built its name on precision riffing and unrelenting firepower, a line-up shift like this is never minor, Hart (formerly of Once Human), makes her recorded debut with the Swedish extreme metal giants on the track, marking the first new music since their Blood Dynasty cycle wrapped.

Michael Amott (guitarist) isn’t easing into this chapter quietly (via press release).

“Connecting with Lauren has marked an important step in my journey. Working with her was an exceptional experience — her remarkable voice, coupled with her dedication and professionalism, brings a rare level of excellence. I look forward to continuing the collaboration.”

Speculation

Arch Enemy kept their cards close with speculation around the mic spot swirling for months, letting the metal rumour mill grind itself into dust. Now, with ‘To The Last Breath’, they’ve answered the noise with something sharp and unmistakably Arch Enemy.

Amott makes it clear this isn’t a stylistic detour:

“Make no mistake — this song is a reckoning. Musically, it’s unapologetically aligned with my original vision for the band — and I believe longtime fans will recognize that immediately. Lyrically, it’s about seeing through deception and dismantling the illusion of control. It captures that moment when you realize you’ve been fed poison — and you choose to fight back. Once that clarity hits, there’s no retreat. It’s do or die.”

The track leans hard into the band’s classic DNA, tight melodic leads slice through thunderous drums, while Hart’s delivery balances venom and control.

“Just when you think it’s over, a new beginning rises. Now it’s time to rage with us — to the very last f**king breath!”

Whether you’ve been riding with Arch Enemy since the early days or joined during their more recent run, this is a clear statement of intent.
