Interpol Debut New Song ‘See Out Loud’ At Recent São Paulo Show

Interpol gave fans a special treat at their show in Brazil last night by unveiling their new song ‘See Out Loud’.

It’s been almost four years since Interpol released their last album, The Other Side Of Make-Believe, and they have spent the last few years touring anniversaries of some of their most beloved material. Last night, however, the Indie Rock group gave fans a look into their future.

Last night, during a performance at the Audio in São Paulo, Brazil, Interpol played their all-new track ‘See Out Loud’. If you’re a fan of Interpol, you’re sure to enjoy it, as the track retains their classic sound and features guitarist Daniel Kessler taking a strong lead vocal position in the track, duelling with frontman Paul Banks.

Two weeks ago, the band teased on their social media that they were planning to unveil new music soon.

“We are pleased to announce we have new music coming soon,” their post would read. “We are very excited about it and look forward to sharing it with you all soon”.

Long-time member and drummer, Sam Fogarino, will be sitting out on this tour again, but the band were confirmed he still contributed to the album.

“Whilst Sam played and co-wrote the new record with us, he is still not available to join us for the time being.” In 2023, Fogarino underwent spinal surgery and had to miss the 2024 Antics 20th anniversary tour.

Replacing him is Urian V Hackney, who would sit behind the kit most recently with Iggy Pop. Hackney would also record for The Armed and appear as their touring drummer in recent years.

You can check out his tasteful rendition of ‘Obstacle 1’, which Hackney shared on Instagram earlier today (March 22nd).
