sace6 Release ‘allured’ Ahead Of Debut Album ‘brutalist’

Share

There’s something unsettling brewing in the space between pop gloss and metal abrasion.

sace6 have released new single ‘allured’, another sharp preview of their upcoming album ‘brutalist’, due May 8th via Sumerian Records.

The NY/NJ duo are still early in their run, but they’re already leaning hard into contrast. ‘allured’ doesn’t ease you in, it drags you through warped melodies and suffocating atmosphere, where vulnerability and distortion sit uncomfortably close.

A mask slipping in real time

The track digs into insecurity dressed up as confidence. Not the clean, polished version, but the kind that feels forced, performative, and ready to crack.

“our third single off of ‘brutalist’ – “allured” the devastating atmosphere shows the wall of confidence and certainty used to mask one’s insecurities. “allured” recognizes the true personality of someone who seeks validation from others by making themselves and everyone around them believe their worth & intentions the way they wish they truly were.”

It’s a theme that fits the band’s whole aesthetic, nothing about sace6 feels stable, everything sits on edge.

Building towards ‘brutalist’

If earlier singles hinted at what ‘brutalist’ might become, ‘allured’ sharpens the picture, this isn’t genre fusion for the sake of it, it’s friction, Pop hooks get dragged through noise. R&B intimacy is cut open by metal weight.

Formed in 2024 by sace. and Noah Thomas, the project thrives on that tension, softness against volume, romance against something colder and more mechanical.

They’re not reinventing heavy music, but they are warping it into something harder to pin down.

Australian shows incoming

Australian fans won’t have to wait long to see how it translates live. sace6 hit local stages this April, supporting Nothing, Nowhere across a national run.

It’s a fitting pairing, both acts sit in that same space where genre lines blur and emotional weight does most of the talking.
