Beartooth Announce Massive 2027 Australian Tour And New Album Pure Ecstasy

Beartooth are heading back down under in 2027 for their biggest Australian headline run to date, bringing special guests Fit for a King and Volumes along for what’s shaping up to be one of the heaviest tours of the year.

The four date Pure Ecstasy World Tour Australia 2027 kicks off in Adelaide before tearing through Melbourne and Sydney, wrapping up in Brisbane at Fortitude Music Hall.

Beartooth ‘Pure Ecstasy’ album

The announcement lands alongside confirmation of Beartooth’s sixth studio album, Pure Ecstasy, due out August 28th via Fearless Records, it marks the first full length release from the band on their new label and signals a bold new chapter for frontman Caleb Shomo and company.

The title track has also arrived, delivering the first full taste of the record’s sonic direction.

“Song one is always a crucial part of an album to me. It’s gotta lock you into the vibe out of the gate,” says Shomo. “‘Pure Ecstasy’ was birthed in a studio with Misha Mansoor, ridiculous loudspeakers, and the dumbest heaviest chugs we could chug. Once it was brought home and expanded on with Jordan Fish, there was no question it was the album opener. Play loud and kick ass.”

Following the breakout success of 2023’s The Surface, which topped Billboard’s Alternative and Hard Music charts, Beartooth are continuing to evolve their signature mix of catharsis, melody and crushing heaviness.

With Pure Ecstasy, the band leans further into vulnerability and collaboration, delivering what promises to be their most expansive release yet.
