It feels like a millennium ago that metalcore mainstays Northlane and In Hearts Wake teamed up for one of the biggest collab tours of 2016, but make no mistake – the memories made with the Equinox won’t leave us any time soon. The tour itself went down back in June, but preceding it in April was an 11-minute EP that mashed only the best parts of both worlds together.
Now, the bands have teamed up once more to drop a singular conceptual video for the full, unabridged EP. The video ties together footage of both bands performing on the Equinox tour, a healthy dose of mosh shots and an even healthier dose of slow-mo slathered over the whole slab. Quick warning, though – if you weren’t at any of those massive theatre shows, the clip will give you intense FOMO.
Though they aren’t in tandem, Northlane and In Hearts Wake both have a stack of tour dates coming up: if you’re tagging along to see Slipknot on their arena tour this month, you’ll be able to catch In Hearts Wake in the opening slot. Northlane are taking things down a notch with their three-date capital city mini-tour kicking off in mid-November, with In Hearts Wake handling the regional circuit with their own sprinkling of headliners throughout December.
