PRESIDENT Announce Debut Album Blood Of Your Empire And Release “DOOM LOOP”

Share

After days of cryptic teasing, PRESIDENT have officially unveiled their debut album Blood Of Your Empire, arriving September 4th through Atlantic Records.

Alongside the announcement, PRESIDENT have also released their new single “DOOM LOOP”, complete with a dark and cinematic new music video that continues expanding the unsettling world they’ve been carefully building since emerging last year.

“The song is really about the strange tragedy of time — how we spend our lives chasing it, wasting it, and fearing it — only to realize its value once a moment is gone,” the band explained (per press release).

“It’s a reminder for people to be present while they are actually living their lives, not just remembering them afterwards.”

Building momentum

The track follows previous single “MERCY”, pushing even further into PRESIDENT’s mix of heavy electronics, atmospheric tension and massive modern metal dynamics, the album itself appears set to dive even deeper into existential themes.

According to the band, Blood Of Your Empire was shaped by questions surrounding mortality, belief and humanity’s relationship with religion:

“Religion has inspired incredible compassion, purpose, and beauty in the world — but it has also been responsible for unimaginable suffering and bloodshed throughout history,” PRESIDENT shared. “This album lives in the tension between those two truths.”

Visually, the rollout remains just as deliberate, the album artwork features The Battle of Poitiers, a painting by Eugène Delacroix currently housed inside the Louvre Museum, reinforcing the project’s cinematic and historical aesthetic.

Despite maintaining anonymity and offering almost no insight into the identities behind the project, PRESIDENT’s popularity has exploded quickly, their recent U.S. support run with Bad Omens helped fuel that momentum, and demand has already pushed their first ever U.S. headline tour into completely sold out territory months ahead of launch.

The upcoming run kicks off September 4th in Nashville and wraps October 14th in Dallas, with support from Cenobia and Showing Teeth on select dates, for a band built almost entirely on mystery, PRESIDENT are suddenly becoming impossible to ignore.
