Kingdom Of Giants have officially entered a new era.

The California metalcore outfit have returned with their first new music since reshaping their lineup, unveiling the crushing new single “Respawn” alongside an accompanying music video.

The track represents more than just another release, it’s the first Kingdom Of Giants song to feature new bassist and vocalist JT Gutierrez, who joins founding members Dana Willax, Truman Berlin, Max Bremer and Julian Perez as the band embarks on its next chapter.

Musically, “Respawn” wastes little time making an impression, the track delivers the blend of melody and heaviness that has helped Kingdom Of Giants build a devoted following over the years.

“Respawn is the start of a new chapter for the band — and for me stepping in,” Gutierrez said.

“I’ve been working for 15 years trying to get to where I am today, and joining this band marks a turning point in my life that I will forever be grateful for. Working with the guys has been an incredibly smooth transition and they have become a very important part of my life. I couldn’t be more excited for what’s next.”

Frontman Dana Willax believes the song is one of the strongest the band has produced in years:

“Respawn is my favorite KOG track in as long as I can remember and I’m so excited to have JT be a part of it,” Willax said.

“I absolutely love how diverse his voice is and how well we work together and contrast each other simultaneously.”

Willax also revealed the track explores the emotional cycle of repeatedly giving someone another chance despite knowing the relationship is unhealthy and ultimately destined to disappoint.
