Ice Nine Kills are stepping deeper into the horror world once again.
Fresh off expanding their growing cinematic universe and only days after news broke that Ice Nine Kills frontman Spencer Charnas would lend his voice to Halloween: The Game, the band have now officially revealed their next crossover project, a collaboration with Dead By Daylight.
Announced across social media with the teaser line:
“You can flee, you can fight…
But you won’t survive the night.”
INK and Dead By Daylight will release a new collaborative track titled Play Dead on June 26.
Pre Save Ice Nine Kills ‘Play Dead’
A pre-save campaign is already live ahead of release, the collaboration arrives as Dead By Daylight celebrates its 10th anniversary year, a milestone moment for Behaviour Interactive’s long running multiplayer horror phenomenon.
Since launching in 2016, Dead By Daylight has become one of gaming’s defining horror experiences, bringing together original killers alongside icons from film and pop culture while building a huge crossover audience across gaming, horror and alternative music communities.
During its anniversary celebrations, Behaviour confirmed major updates planned across 2026 and beyond, including visual upgrades, new chapters and collaborations, with Ice Nine Kills now becoming part of that expanding universe.
Alongside the new track, the band is also receiving an in game cosmetic collection inspired by their signature horror aesthetic, the collection will introduce themed outfits for Dwight, Meg, Jeff, Kate and The Legion.
Few modern heavy bands have blurred the lines between music, gaming and horror culture as effectively as INK, turning each release into an immersive experience that stretches well beyond songs alone.
