Big time return
Formed in 1994, The Hellacopters quickly became one of Sweden’s defining rock acts following the release of their Grammy Award-winning debut album Supershitty To The Max.
Led by Nicke Andersson and featuring guitarist Dregen during the band’s classic era, the group built a global reputation through albums including Payin’ The Dues and Grande Rock before initially calling it quits in 2007.
After reuniting in 2016, the band returned to recording, releasing their ninth studio album, Overdriver, last year.
Gluecifer’s Australian debut
Joining them are Norway’s Gluecifer, another cornerstone of the Scandinavian rock explosion of the late ’90s. Albums such as Ridin’ The Tiger, Tender Is The Savage and Basement Apes helped cement the band’s reputation before they disbanded in 2005. Since reforming in 2017, Gluecifer have returned with new music, including their latest release, Same Drug New High.
With two iconic bands sharing one bill, the Respect The Rock tour is shaping up to be one of the biggest rock events of 2027, so be sure to get those tickets quick.
