Tom Morello is set to return with his first solo studio album in several years, announcing Everyone Gets Everything They Want, which arrives September 25th via Mom + Pop Music.
Known for blending hard hitting guitar work with outspoken political commentary, the Rage Against The Machine guitarist once again leans into themes including fascism, immigration, social justice and global unrest across the new record.
The album also showcases Morello‘s willingness to experiment sonically, drawing influence from multiple genres while welcoming an impressive list of collaborators, among the featured artists are System Of A Down frontman Serj Tankian, Irish rap trio Kneecap and metalcore outfit Beartooth.
One of the album’s most notable contributors, however, is much closer to home, Morello’s 15 year old son, Roman, earns co-writing credits on five tracks after spending the past three years performing alongside his father on tour.
The latest preview of the album, “Date Night”, tells the remarkable true story of three young Dutch women who became spies, saboteurs and assassins during World War II while resisting Nazi occupation.

Anti-racist songs for anti-racists
“I make anti-racist songs for anti-racists,” he says (per Alternative Press). “I make anti-fascist songs for anti-fascists. And I make anti-Nazi songs for anti-Nazis. ‘Date Night’ is really a ‘which side are you on?’ song. If any of that offends you, do the math. Oh, and Roman Morello wrote the killer riff in this tune.”
Beyond the album, Morello has also unveiled the inaugural Power To The People Festival, taking place on October 3rd at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland. Curated by Morello himself, the one day event will celebrate music, activism and community, bringing together a heavyweight lineup featuring Foo Fighters, Bruce Springsteen, Public Enemy, The Linda Lindas and additional artists.
Everyone Gets Everything They Want features 12 tracks, including collaborations with Tankian, Kneecap and Beartooth, before Morello heads out on an extensive North American run spanning the United States and Canada through late 2026.
