New York digital rock pioneers Anamanaguchi are finally heading to Australia, announcing their long awaited debut Australian tour for this October.
New York four piece Anamanaguchi are known for blending chiptune, rock, electronic music and video game culture into an unmistakable live experience, they’re set to perform three exclusive headline shows across Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
The tour arrives in support of their latest album, Anyway, a record that explores themes of uncertainty, identity and finding genuine human connection in an increasingly digital world., while their previous release, [USA], examined internet culture and modern American life through glitch heavy production and expansive electronic soundscapes, Anyway shifts the focus inward.

- Sunday, October 11th – Brisbane, The Brightside, 18+
Tickets go on sale Tuesday, August 4th at 9am local time through Destroy All Lines, with an exclusive presale beginning Monday, August 3rd at 9am local time.
Fans are encouraged to secure tickets early, with strong demand expected for the band’s first ever Australian appearances.
A mixed bag
Rather than leaning entirely into their trademark digital aesthetic, the band embraces the energy of emo, punk and indie rock, delivering fuzzy guitars, soaring harmonies, powerful drums and emotionally driven songwriting.
The result is one of Anamanaguchi’s most personal and organic releases to date, while still retaining the melodic hooks and electronic flourishes fans have come to expect, the band have continually challenged expectations of what a band can be.

Their upcoming project, ANYWAY FOR REAL, promises to take the world of Anyway even further by merging their digital and analogue identities in a new live concept.
