Queens Of The Stone Age appear to have finally confirmed that a new album is on the way, with the band revealing the title of their upcoming ninth studio record as Perfecth.
The announcement arrived through typically chaotic Queens Of The Stone Age fashion, with the band sharing a bizarre video centred around a game of five finger fillet.
The clip initially appeared to reveal a September 30th release date for Perfecth, before that date was dramatically scratched out and replaced with the less definitive message that the album is “coming soon.”
While the exact release date remains unclear, the existence of the record itself appears considerably more certain.
Easy Street
The announcement follows a steady increase in activity from the band, including the launch of an online complaint line and the release of their new single Easy Street last month.
Featuring guest vocals from Nikki Lane, Easy Street marked Queens Of The Stone Age’s first new music since their 2023 album In Times New Roman, the track had already made its live debut during the band’s Catacombs tour before receiving an official release through Matador Records and Remote Control Records.
The arrival of Perfecth will give fans a new full-length era to look forward to as Queens Of The Stone Age prepare for an extensive run through Australia and New Zealand in December.
The band will be joined throughout the tour by legendary alternative rock outfit Primus and Australian experimental favourites Tropical F*** Storm.

For now, fans have a new album title, new music and a major Australian tour locked in, but exactly when Perfecth arrives remains one more piece of the puzzle.
Queens Of The Stone Age have simply said it is coming soon.
