Yungblud Is Not Slowing Down After Breaking Leg In Motorcycle Crash

Yungblud has decided that a broken leg is more of an inconvenience than a reason to cancel a show.

British rocker Yungblud has revealed he suffered a broken leg in a motorcycle accident, but despite the injury, he says his touring plans remain firmly on track (per Billboard).

The 29 year old shared the news on Instagram alongside photos showing his injured leg. Keeping things characteristically Yungblud, the announcement came with a healthy dose of humour, with Elton John’s “I’m Still Standing” playing over the post.

His message to fans was short and to the point: “Leg f–ked. Still giggin. Still standin (sort of).”

No cancelled shows

If that wasn’t clear enough, Yungblud followed it with a promise that his European commitments aren’t going anywhere.

“Portugal and Belgium I’m comin and it’s gonna be f–king mad. See you next week, Let’s ride,” he wrote.

A representative for the singer confirmed that Yungblud broke his leg during a minor motorcycle accident at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in South Dakota last week.

The annual event draws motorcycle enthusiasts from around the world and ran from August 7th to 16th this year.

Rather than taking the injury as a cue to put his feet up, Yungblud appears determined to get back in front of a crowd. He is currently scheduled to perform at Portugal’s Vilar de Mouros Festival and Belgium’s Pukkelpop Festival in the coming week.

The injury comes as the singer continues touring behind his 2025 album Idols, while also promoting his collaboration with Aerosmith, One More Time. The latter collaborative EP reached No. 9 on the Billboard 200 in December.

Exactly how a high energy Yungblud performance looks with a broken leg remains to be seen, a wheel chair maybe? But if his latest update is anything to go by, fans shouldn’t expect him to suddenly turn the volume down.

For Yungblud, the message seems pretty simple: the leg might be broken, but the gigs are still happening.
