Haywire aren’t letting a derailed Australian tour slow them down.
Massachusetts hardcore outfit Haywire have signed with Roadrunner Records and announced their second album, ‘I Don’t Wanna Say Goodbye’, arriving October 2nd.
The announcement comes alongside new single ‘Interstate Love Affair’, complete with a video (below) directed by Luis Hernandez (per Next Mosh).

Australian crowds should already be well acquainted with Haywire by now, the band tore through the country earlier this year supporting Poison The Well, then immediately lined up a second visit for August, this time for their own headline run with Newcastle hardcore crew Feel The Pain.
That return was ultimately postponed due to visa issues, while there are currently no replacement Australian dates announced, given Haywire were prepared to cross the Pacific twice in the space of a few months, another crack at those headline shows wouldn’t exactly come as a shock.
Haywire’s Next Record Takes Shape

‘I Don’t Wanna Say Goodbye’ follows the band’s 2024 debut album, ‘Conditioned for Demolition’, and 2025 EP ‘For Better or for Worse’, they’ve also kept themselves busy with split releases alongside No Guard and Dropkick Murphys.
The new record was produced by Citizen vocalist Mat Kerekes and mixed by Taylor Young at The Pit Studio. Recording took place across Leeds in the UK and Toledo, Ohio, over three months.
Members of NOTHING and The Aggrolites also appear on the record alongside several of Haywire’s friends.
It’s an interesting collection of fingerprints for a band firmly planted in hardcore. Haywire have never seemed particularly interested in sitting still, though, and ‘Interstate Love Affair’ offers the first proper look at where that restless streak has taken them this time.
Haywire Keep Moving
With Australia temporarily off the itinerary, Haywire have a packed US schedule ahead.
The run begins supporting Turnstile in Milwaukee on September 9th, followed by shows with Circle Jerks and appearances at Louder Than Life, Riot Fest, CBGB Fest, Aftershock, Furnace Fest, Sick New World and Vans Warped Tour.
For a band that was already prepared to tour Australia twice this year, that relentless schedule feels pretty much on brand.
‘I Don’t Wanna Say Goodbye’ arrives October 2nd through Roadrunner Records, with ‘Interstate Love Affair’ out now.
