Radiohead are finally coming back to Australia. The band have announced a staggering 16-date arena tour for May and June 2027, marking their first Australian shows in 15 years.
And when we say 16 dates, we mean it: four nights in Perth, six in Melbourne and six in Sydney.
The tour begins at RAC Arena in Perth on Monday 3 May before moving to Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne for a six-show run and then Afterpay Arena in Sydney for another six nights, wrapping on Tuesday 1 June.
It will be Radiohead’s first Australian tour since 2012.
Those mysterious Melbourne posters were real
The announcement also confirms what Radiohead fans had been piecing together over the past week.
Mysterious physical cards marked 2027 started appearing around Melbourne, with QR codes pointing back to Radiohead’s official W.A.S.T.E. network and a Melbourne-specific landing page. BLUNT reported on the leaked poster campaign as it unfolded, after sightings began spreading across Reddit, record stores and local venues.
At the time there were no dates, venues or ticket details, just enough evidence to suggest the band were preparing an Australian return. Now we know exactly what those posters were leading to.

How Radiohead ticket registration works
Rather than opening a conventional first-in-first-served ticket sale immediately, access to the Australian shows will be managed through a registration process for both general and accessible tickets.
Registration is open now and closes at 5pm AEST on Thursday 10 September 2026. According to Frontier Touring, every registration made during that window will be treated equally, so there is no advantage to registering in the first few minutes.
Fans can register for tickets through Frontier Touring.
The tour is presented by Frontier Touring and Chugg Entertainment, with all shows licensed all ages.
A $2 donation is also included in the ticket price, going to Greenpeace Australia Pacific and the Australian Marine Conservation Society. Radiohead will match the total amount raised with their own donation.
Six arena shows in Melbourne and another six in Sydney is not a normal
Australian routing for a major international band. It is closer to a pair of extended city residencies, and it underlines just how significant Radiohead’s return is expected to be.
The band last toured Australia in November 2012, meaning fans will have waited almost exactly 15 years by the time Radiohead walk back onto an Australian stage.
For a generation of fans who have never had the chance to see Radiohead here, and for everyone who has been waiting since 2012, this is one of the biggest Australian tour announcements in years.
