After the capital-city shows, Karnivool are taking their new album further afield. The band’s final Australian dates of 2026 run from Newcastle to Hobart, with tickets on sale this Friday.
Karnivool have announced an 11-date Australian regional tour for November and December, extending the In Verses run into bandrooms, pubs and halls beyond their July itinerary.
The tour begins at Newcastle’s King Street Bandroom on Wednesday 25 November and finishes at Hobart’s Odeon on Saturday 12 December. Tickets go on sale Friday 2 October at 9am local time through karnivool.com.
There is a particular pleasure in finding your own town on a tour poster. Coffs Harbour, Brunswick Heads and Ballarat are among the stops this time, with the route stretching through NSW, the ACT, Queensland, Victoria and Tasmania.
A ticket is only part of the cost when seeing a band means a long drive, a hotel and time off work. For fans near these venues, the appeal is straightforward: a chance to catch the new record without having to build a trip around it.
A new chapter for In Verses
Released in February, In Verses was Karnivool’s first studio album since 2013’s Asymmetry. It debuted at No. 1 on the ARIA Albums Chart, becoming the first Australian album to reach the top spot in 2026, according to the tour announcement.
The Perth band followed it with touring across Europe and Australia. Their July capital-city run included Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion, Melbourne’s Margaret Court Arena and Brisbane’s Riverstage, with the new announcement describing those dates as the biggest headline shows of their career.
This next leg brings that album campaign to a different set of rooms, from the Hoey Moey and Hotel Brunswick to Ballarat’s Civic Hall. After years of waiting for the record itself, audiences outside July’s five-city route now have dates of their own.
Karnivool are billing these as their final Australian shows for 2026. Support acts have not been named in the announcement.
