Corrella will bring their largest Australian headline tour to ten cities this summer, with Boston roots-reggae group The Elovaters joining every date.
The Aotearoa band will begin at The Wool Exchange in Geelong on January 24 before travelling through Wollongong, Newcastle, Burleigh, the Sunshine Coast, Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Fremantle. The run finishes at The River in Margaret River on February 7.
General tickets go on sale through Live Nation Australia at 10am local time on Friday, October 9. A Live Nation presale begins at 10am on October 8, while artist and Spotify presales open at midday the same day. All presales close at 9am on October 9.
Corrella have spent the past three years growing from an Aotearoa live favourite into a band capable of carrying a substantial Australian run. “Blue Eyed Māori” spent more than 50 weeks at number one on the Official NZ Top 20 Singles chart, setting the chart’s all-time record for the longest stay at the top.
The group’s 2023 debut album, Road From 26, established its mixture of roots reggae, soul, funk and pop-rock. Follow-up album Skeletons arrived in November 2024 and was included in Rolling Stone’s list of the 50 best New Zealand albums of that year.
Corrella have since toured across New Zealand and Australia, appeared at Rhythm and Vines and Homegrown, and shared stages with UB40 and L.A.B. Their current single “Not I” previews another collection of new material expected to feature in the Australian set.
The Elovaters arrive with their own sizeable catalogue. The Massachusetts band’s 2018 album Defy Gravity topped Billboard’s reggae chart, and their songs have accumulated more than 600 million streams. Their fifth album, Shark Belly Motel, preceded a sold-out headline show at Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre.
