Show Me The Body Expand Meredith Visit Into Four-Date Australian Headline Tour

Share

The New York hardcore experimentalists will play Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth in December with Evanora Unlimited.

Show Me The Body are expanding their December visit to Australia, with promoter WavyLand announcing four headline dates for the band’s Australian tour around their appearance at Meredith Music Festival.

The New York hardcore outfit will play Melbourne’s Thornbury Theatre on 13 December before heading to Liberty Hall in Sydney, The Princess Theatre in Brisbane and The Rechabite in Perth.

Their official touring representation, Ground Control Touring, also lists shows at Wellington’s San Fran on 8 December and Auckland’s Tuning Fork on 9 December.

The run follows Show Me The Body’s previously announced appearance at Meredith Music Festival, which returns to Victoria’s Meredith Supernatural Amphitheatre from 11–13 December.

It also marks the band’s first multi-city Australian headline run since December 2022, when they played Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth. Show Me The Body were back in Australia more recently for a one-off performance at Dark Mofo in Hobart in June 2025, billed by the festival as an Australian exclusive.

This time they arrive behind fourth album Alone Together, released in July through Loma Vista Recordings.

Working with producers Klas Åhlund and Kenneth Blume, the record pushes the band’s already difficult-to-contain mix of hardcore, noise, electronics and Julian Cashwan Pratt’s unmistakable banjo into another shape. Loma Vista describes Alone Together as an album concerned with putting belief into action and direct communication rather than atmosphere.

Joining Show Me The Body across the headline dates is Evanora Unlimited, the project of Oakland-born, Croatia-based artist Orion Ohana. Evanora sits in similarly difficult-to-file territory, moving between experimental punk, industrial electronics and techno while extending beyond music into a wider multimedia project.

Melbourne and Sydney ticketing currently lists general sale from 10am on Friday, 9 October. Brisbane’s Ticketmaster listing has an artist presale beginning at 10am AEST on Thursday, 8 October, followed by general sale at 10am AEST on Friday.
