Waterparks Announce 2027 Australian Tour With girli And Maple’s Pet Dinosaur

Waterparks are returning to Australia in February 2027, bringing girli and Maple’s Pet Dinosaur for their first headline tour here since 2023.

The Houston trio announced the No No No No No tour on 20 October, with five shows booked across one week. Melbourne’s Forum gets the opening night on 14 February, followed by Adelaide, Perth and Sydney before the run finishes at Brisbane’s Tivoli on 21 February.

Destroy All Lines presale starts at noon AEDT on Thursday 22 October. General tickets go on sale at 11am local time on Friday 23 October, so the public sale opens according to the time in each city. Presale registration is available through the promoter’s website.

The tour follows JINX, released through BMG in July. Its track ‘TELL ME WHY’ brings together Mark Hoppus, Danny Elfman, Eric Nally and Sorry My Love, a guest list that puts the blink-182 bassist, film composer and Foxy Shazam singer on the same Waterparks recording.

Awsten Knight handles vocals and guitar, alongside guitarist Geoff Wigington and drummer Otto Wood. The band’s debut album, Double Dare, arrived in 2016, with JINX taking their studio album count to six a decade later.

Australian audiences first saw Waterparks supporting The Maine in 2018, before the band returned for Good Things later that year. Their 2023 visit followed INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY and marked their first Australian headline tour. The promoter says that run sold out, with Melbourne moving from 170 Russell to the Forum, where they will play again in February.

British alt-pop artist girli joins the full run after making her Australian debut in 2024. Those shows took her through Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne behind her second album, Matriarchy. This time, the itinerary also includes Adelaide and Perth as part of the Waterparks bill.

Australian support Maple’s Pet Dinosaur broke through with ‘lego’, whose video was filmed on a Ring doorbell camera. She went on to play SXSW Sydney and Good Things, with five Australian support dates now booked for February.

The promoter lists tickets across the tour at $89.90 to $99.90. The complete dates are below, with booking links and entry conditions available on the tour page.
