We asked the 2019 Good Things Festival line-up to spin bad things…into Good Things!

Share

It’s been a few weeks now since the sophomore Good Things Festival outing, meaning the ringing in our ears has dulled, the hangovers have subsided and most of us have probably even cleaned the clothes we were wearing!

Featuring a smorgasbord of the proverbial who’s who of alternative culture, Good Things capped off its second year in existence by solidifying its foothold as a premium destination festival, the likes of which we’ve rarely seen since the demise of Soundwave.

Blunt Magazine would have been remiss to not be on-site during the festival, and we were fortunate enough to steal time from a solid chunk of the line up to put them to the coals, and of course film the result.

In keeping with the positive themes the festival puts forth by both name and nature, we thought we’d put the bands including Simple Plan, Violent Soho, Windwaker, Voyager, Reel Big Fish, Karnivool, Enter Shikari, The Beautiful Monument, The Butterfly Effect, Thy Art Is Murder and Yours Truly to the test to see if they can turn bad things…into Good Things.

Jetlag, queues, heartbreak, parking fines; how the fuck can these things be good? Well, let’s see, shall we?

Check out the results.
