Sly Withers turned the Croxton bandroom into a haze of sweat, smoke, and bright stage lights on Saturday. We were there to capture it all.
Sly Withers performed to a packed crowd at the Croxton Bandroom in Melbourne on Saturday night, and despite running into some bass issues in the opening song, gave it their all for a night that fans are unlikely to forget for some time to come.
Once the pesky bass issues were behind them, the band locked in – drums crashing, guitars snarling, crowd packed shoulder-to-shoulder in front of the stage. It may have been an uncharacteristically chilly evening for days before summer kicks off, but the heat radiating from the excited fans had everyone well and truly warmed up for a massive performance.
It’s been over two weeks since the Perth outfit hit the road, having now wrapped up their tour with one final gig in Torquay on Sunday, but the trials and tribulations of touring didn’t dull their shine on stage one bit.
By the time Sly Withers hit the final chorus of the final song on their setlist, the room was glowing, and every face in the crowd had their eyes fixed on the chaos unfolding under those lights.
