Auckland, NZ – November 10th — Auckland was blessed with another unforgettable night as Pearl Jam took the stage at Go Media Stadium for the second show of their New Zealand leg. While the November 8th gig featured a cameo from Liam Finn, fans at Night 2 were treated to something truly special during the encore — Neil Finn himself joining the band to perform a heartfelt rendition of the Crowded House classic ‘Throw Your Arms Around Me’.
With Mike Dziama’s photos capturing the raw energy and emotion of the evening, Pearl Jam delivered yet another massive setlist that spanned their storied career. Kicking off with the evocative ‘Release’ and diving deep into their catalogue with tracks like ‘Better Man’ and ‘Even Flow,’ the band had the crowd on their feet for nearly three hours.
The Set List and Encore
The setlist featured new tracks like ‘Scared of Fear’ and ‘Wreckage,’ demonstrating that Pearl Jam is still very much a band evolving creatively while paying homage to their classic hits. The crowd erupted when Eddie Vedder introduced Neil Finn, with the two legends embracing before launching into ‘Throw Your Arms Around Me,’ a moment that left fans in awe.
The encore was packed with iconic tracks, closing out the night with a powerful rendition of ‘Alive’, followed by the anthemic ‘Rocking In The Free World’ and the crowd favorite ‘Yellow Ledbetter’ as the perfect send-off.
