Yungblud doesn’t really do “just a show”, he shows up like a human fireworks display, kicks the doors off the room, and leaves the crowd desperate to hear more.
Last night at Sidney Myer Music Bowl in Melbourne, Yungblud brought his ‘Idols’ world tour to life in full colour with big hooks, big emotion, and that undeniable energy he’s built his whole world on.
The setlist hit hard and didn’t waste time getting to the good stuff, opening with ‘Hello Heaven, Hello’ before ripping through fan favourites and fresh cuts like ‘The Funeral’, ‘Lowlife’, and ‘Monday Murder’.
One of the standout moments was his cover of Black Sabbath’s ‘Changes’, a track that’s taken on a whole new weight in the past year and landed with real punch live.
He also performed ‘My Only Angel’, his collaboration with Aerosmith, before closing things out with an encore that felt like a curtain call and definitely had fans asking for more.
BLUDFEST to Australia in 2027
If the night wasn’t already huge, Yungblud also told the Melbourne crowd he’s planning to bring BLUDFEST to Australia next year, continuing his push to make live music feel accessible again.

Melbourne also got a serious dose of Australian punk fun with Dune Rats opening the night, the Brisbane trio have been doing this loud, loose, no-bullsh*t thing for well over a decade, and they rolled into the Bowl like they owned it.
They tore through a tight, punchy set that hit all the essentials:
- ‘Scott Green’
- ‘Be Like You’
- ‘6 Pack’
- ‘Superman’
- ‘Bullshit’
- ‘Cheapskate’
- ‘Am I Ever Gonna See Your Face Again’
Pairing them with Yungblud on this tour makes total sense, same DIY spirit, and the kind of reckless fun Australian crowds live for.
