AC/DC is in Adelaide for a massive show at the bp Adelaide Grand Final. Here’s everything we know from set times, tickets, and more.
AC/DC officially kicked off their POWER UP Australian tour last month in Melbourne as part of their mega, month-long run of nine shows across the country. With between 3.5 and 4 million tickets sold on their current world tour so far, it’s bound to be absolutely massive as they continue blazing across the country – and Adelaide is in for for the next gig as they perform at the bp Adelaide Grand Final.
We’ve rounded up everything you should know before attending tomorrow’s Sydney show, including the set times, setlist, how to get to the MCG in amongst the chaos, and more – so let’s get into it.
AC/DC POWER UP Australian Tour Adelaide dates and location

AC/DC will close out the bp Adelaide Grand Final (Supercars), held at the Adelaide Street Circuit (specifically at Victoria Park West, the park adjacent to V8 Nation, and Gate 1), on Sunday, 30 November. They’ll be supported by Amyl and the Sniffers and Large Mirage.
AC/DC Adelaide set times
According to the official Adelaide grand final site, the AC/DC set times are as follows:
- Oscar the Wild: 5:40pm
- Amyl & The Sniffers: 6:30pm
- AC/DC: 8:00pm – 10:30pm
These set times are subject to change, but should be relatively airtight when all is said and done.
AC/DC POWER UP Tour Adelaide tickets
There’s still a few AC/DC Adelaide tickets left – although keep in mind this one works a little different to other stops on the tour, given they’re performing at the Supercars grand final. You can find tickets here, but we’ll give you a bit of a rundown on how the ticketing will work so you don’t get caught out.
The concert area where AC/DC will perform has 3 sections:
- Area A – GA Standing: Gives you access to the front section, offering the closest view to the stage.
- Area B – GA Standing: Puts you just behind Area A, giving you a great view of the stage.
- Area C – GA Standing: Open to all ticket holders who possess a valid entry ticket to the event for Sunday, 30 November.
Tickets for Area A and B also provide general admission access to the bp Adelaide Grand Final for Sunday, 30 November.

How to get to the AC/DC Adelaide show

Given AC/DC’s Adelaide show is happening right in the middle of the bp Adelaide Grand Final, it’s likely going to be a bit of a packed one to get to and from. Pay on the day parking will be available at the Fullarton Road Car Park (subject to capacity), but pre-booking has now closed – so it might be worth ditching the car to head in on Sunday.
Those taking Uber, taxi, or other ride share options should keep in mind that due to high demand, the wait to get out of the event and into a car may be a long one, but there are multiple taxi ranks available around the precinct to hopefully ease some of the congestion.
The traffic leaving and arriving is also bound to be pretty horrific, so plan to arrive early and expect delays on the way out – the same goes for any means of getting in, as getting into the event will likely take some time due to the sheer amount of attendees.
Adelaide Metro are offering free public transport to and from the bp Adelaide Grand Final with a valid event ticket, while children aged 12 years and under receive free entry to the track and won’t need to show their ticket to catch free transport. There’s also a free city shuttle service being offered from 8am to 12am on the Sunday. You can plan your journey and see all the info, timetables, and closures here.

AC/DC Merch: Where to buy

Following the route of Metallica and Oasis, AC/DC has an official merch pop-up store open on the 29th and 30th November. It’s located at The Lady Daly, 126 Port Rd, Hindmarsh SA 5007. According to the official AC/DC tour site, it’ll be host to “legendary tour props” like the tour cannon and Hells Bell, and have exclusive merch including limited-edition vinyl “you won’t find anywhere else.”
Here’s the opening hours over the week:
- Nov 29: 12 PM – 10 PM
- Nov 30 (AC/DC Showdays): 11 AM – 5 PM
It’s not clear at this point whether there’ll be merch available at the actual event, given it’ll likely be flush with Supercars merch stalls, so if you don’t want to miss out, make sure to head down to Hindmarsh ahead of time. Don’t worry if you’re not in Adelaide, either – there will be pop-ups in each city, coinciding with AC/DC’s Aussie tour dates.
