AC/DC Melbourne MCG Night Two: Full Setlist And What Changed From Night One

Share

AC/DC returned to the MCG tonight for the second of their Melbourne shows and delivered a longer, heavier set than Night One.

More than 80,000 fans packed the stadium again as the band showcased their catalogue again for a packed audience at the G.

Night One already made headlines thanks to the return of Jailbreak for the first time since 1991. Tonight’s follow-up didn’t deliver any surprises with the same setlist delivered a second time round.

Before AC/DC hit the stage, The Casanovas and Amyl & the Sniffers once again warmed up the crowd. It has been a massive week for Amyl, from the cancelled Fed Square show to the $35,000 bar shout across seven venues. Their MCG support slot landed even harder tonight with the whole city behind them.

Below is the full AC/DC Night Two setlist.

A Massive Week For Melbourne

This second MCG show closes out one of the biggest weeks the city has seen in years. Oasis finished their run, Metallica wrapped their Australian tour with a final doodle session tribute in Sydney, and Melbourne’s venues have been overflowing with fans. We broke down the whole cultural surge in Is Melbourne having its next great rock moment?.

Tonight felt like the culmination of all of it.

AC/DC still own the stadium. Amyl earned their moment. And Melbourne once again proved why it’s the heart of Australian live music.
