Share

Anthrax have announced Australian tour dates for March, their first shows Down Under since 2019.

Anthrax will make their long-awaited return to Australia in March with Live Nation confirming four shows across Brisbane, Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney. As one of thrash metal’s foundational forces and part of the genre’s revered Big Four, the band will bring more than four decades of breakneck riffs and pit-fuelled staples back to Australian stages.

The run begins on March 23 at Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall, before weaving around the country and wrapping up less than a week later in Sydney on March 28. Each stop is set to deliver a career-spanning set from Anthrax, drawing on fan favourites, deep cuts and newer material that has kept the band relevant to multiple generations of metal listeners.

Anthrax’s upcoming visit marks their first Australian shows since 2019, offering fans a rare chance to see the band reaffirm exactly why their influence still stretches across the genre.
