Baker Boy will take a rebuilt live show across Australia from January to March 2027, with his 19 date Baked Summer Tour visiting several locations for the first time.
Presented by triple j, the tour opens at Burleigh Town Hotel on Friday, January 8th and winds through Queensland, New South Wales, the ACT and Victoria before closing at Warrnambool’s Whalers Hotel on Saturday, March 13th.
The run follows a busy year of touring DJANDJAY, but Baker Boy says he’s reworked the show for this next stretch. His mix of rap, dance and yidaki will reach audiences well beyond the capital cities, with stops including Port Macquarie, Rockhampton, Bundaberg and San Remo.
“It’s been a huge year for DJANDJAY, I’ve been touring it all over, but excited to bring this new era of Baker Boy to regional areas. You mob really know how to party so we’ve rebuilt the show to put on something epic, even if you’ve caught a headline show already, you don’t wanna miss this. It’s time for a BAKED SUMMER. Let’s effn rave.”
January accounts for ten of the dates, taking him down the NSW coast before heading back into Queensland. After a short break, February’s shows begin in Miranda, Canberra and Wollongong, followed by Mackay, Townsville and Cairns. Three Victorian dates close out the run in March.
Taking DJANDJAY Back On The Road
The announcement follows the deluxe edition of DJANDJAY, his 2025 album named in honour of his late grandmother and the Yolŋu guiding octopus spirit of the same name.
The record earned five ARIA nominations, including Best Solo Artist and Best Hip Hop/Rap Release, and won Album of the Year, Song of the Year and Film Clip of the Year at this year’s National Indigenous Music Awards.
It continues a run that began with his 2021 debut Gela, which won five ARIA Awards, including Album of the Year. Last year also saw Baker Boy perform ‘Thick Skin’ on the AFL Grand Final stage alongside Snoop Dogg.
Presale is available now, with general tickets on sale on Monday, November 9th at 8am AEDT. A limited allocation of discounted tickets for mob is also available through his management, with details on the official tour page.
