Fresh off the back of a sold-out Australian tour, Bilmuri has dropped new single ‘More Than Hate’ alongside a chaotic music video.
Bilmuri is back with a vengeance. After torching stages across the U.S., U.K., and Australia on a sold-out world tour, the alt disruptor has unleashed his latest single, ‘More Than Hate’, complete with a gloriously unhinged music video.
The clip sees Bilmuri’s Johnny Franck as HOGMAN, a rogue antihero tearing through the woods with cameos from Caleb Francis, Mitchell Tenpenny, Knox Morris, and Reese Maslen (Bilmuri’s live guitarist).
It’s equal parts fever dream and action comedy, dialled up to 11 in the way only our favourite hog cranker can. In our recent interview with Franck while we was Down Under for his recent tour saw him wax lyrical on why he loves low-budget YouTube aesthetics (and why it seems to resonate so much more with fans) – and this music video shows just why it works so well.
Musically, ‘More Than Hate’ leans into singalong-worthy melodies and razor-sharp riffs, amplifying the momentum from last year’s AMERICAN MOTOR SPORTS – the album that took Bilmuri global with collaborations spanning A R I Z O N A to Mitchell Tenpenny. It’s a crowd-mover through and through, leaning into Franck’s knack for weaving emotionally-charged lyrics with damn catchy tunes (and some absolutely cursed visuals).

Bilmuri’s recent Aussie tour was a sold-out success in every sense of the word – in our write-up of Melbourne’s Forum show, we described it as “nothing short of exhilarating, with the rumbling of perhaps one of the most amped up crowds the venue has ever seen.”
Since launching in 2016 from his mum’s basement after departing Attack Attack!, Johnny Franck’s Bilmuri project has evolved into a genre-defying juggernaut, mixing alt-rock, metal, country, and outright madness into a sound entirely his own. And with millions of streams, a fervent Muri Naysh fanbase, and a reputation for pushing alt music’s boundaries, internet shitposting legend Bilmuri’s next chapter looks louder than ever.
Can we get another Aussie tour yet, Johnny?
