Bullet for My Valentine Announce 2025 Australian Tour with While She Sleeps and The Devil Wears Prada

Just over two months after their much-hyped co-headliner with Trivium fell apart mid-tour, Bullet for My Valentine are making it right.

The Welsh metalcore icons have announced a full-blown return to Australia this October, marking their biggest local headline run to date. The tour celebrates 20 years of The Poison, the album that kicked the door in for a new wave of UK heavy music back in 2005, and puts the spotlight firmly back on Bullet, free from the backstage politics that derailed earlier plans.

Fans will remember Matt Tuck all but confirming an Aussie leg during a December 2024 interview, as part of what was supposed to be a global Poisoned Ascendancy Tour alongside Trivium. But by May, the wheels had come off. Trivium bassist Paolo Gregoletto called out Tuck directly for pulling the plug. Bullet went quiet. Then came a diplomatic Instagram post, followed by Matt Heafy urging fans to keep things civil. The whole thing played out in public and left fans wondering if the promised Australian dates were dead in the water. Turns out, they weren’t. Just delayed.

This time around, it’s all Bullet. UK metalcore chaos unit While She Sleeps and Ohio post-hardcore veterans The Devil Wears Prada are tagging in as support, and the three-band bill is hitting some of the country’s biggest venues. Between The Poison classics (‘4 Words’, ‘Suffocating Under Words of Sorrow’, ‘Tears Don’t Fall’) and cuts from their 2021 self-titled album, fans can expect a set that’s heavy on nostalgia but not stuck in it.

Bullet owed Australian fans a proper return after the Trivium co-headliner fell apart before it could reach our shores. The Aussie leg had been heavily teased, but when the tour collapsed in May and both bands walked away, fans were left hanging. Now, Bullet are following through, sadly without Trivium. It’s still a stacked lineup, a huge production and three nights that promise to hit hard.
