UK rap powerhouse Central Cee is gearing up to take the globe by storm with his first-ever world tour, Can’t Rush Greatness.
Hot on the heels of his debut album of the same name, the 39-date trek promises to cement the 26-year-old’s status as one of rap’s most influential voices.
The tour kicks off on April 1 in Oslo, Norway, before spanning Europe, North America, and Australasia, hitting iconic venues like London’s O2 Arena and Los Angeles’ Hollywood Palladium along the way. For Aussie and Kiwi fans, this marks a long-awaited opportunity to see the GBP hitmaker live.
The Australia and New Zealand leg kicks off at Auckland’s Spark Arena on June 20, with stops at Brisbane Entertainment Centre (June 22), Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena (June 25), Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena (June 28), and finally Perth’s RAC Arena on July 2.
It goes without saying, Central Cee’s rise to global dominance has been truly meteoric. He’s slowly become the kind of rapper that even some of your parents would know about. His debut album shattered records, achieving the biggest streaming day ever for a UK rapper and delivering hits like Limitless and GBP, featuring 21 Savage. The rapper also scored three Brit Award nominations, including Best UK Artist and Best Hip Hop & Grime.
Tickets for Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne go on sale Friday, January 31, at 10am, with pre-sales starting January 29. Auckland and Perth fans can snag their tickets a week later, with general sales beginning Friday, February 7. All dates and times are local.
