Chained Saint have wasted no time following their Louder Than Life appearance, unleashing a furious new single ahead of next month’s Rise To Fall EP.
South Florida teenage metal outfit Chained Saint have dropped a new video for ‘Punk’, a 1:52 burst of thrash and hardcore aimed squarely at the kind of person its title suggests.
The track arrives fresh from the band’s September 17th appearance at Louder Than Life in Louisville and offers the latest preview of their forthcoming five-track EP, Rise To Fall.
“We all know a punk in our lives,” the band states. “That person who talks big, plays fake, and eventually shows you exactly who they are. ‘Punk’ is about that person, and yeah, this one’s personal. The song is fast, ferocious, and over in 1:52 because that pace matches the anger and intensity behind it. It breaks them down and spits them out like the punk they are.”
‘Punk’ follows previous single ‘Snakeskin’, which introduced the next phase of Chained Saint after their 2024 debut album, Blindside.

The new EP was self-produced by Chained Saint alongside Rob Roy at Power Station Studios, with guitarist Ethan Kahn also hand drawing its cover artwork.
It follows a busy stretch for the young band. Chained Saint spent July and August touring Europe and the UK with Slaughter To Prevail, including appearances at Bloodstock Open Air and Leyendas del Rock, before returning to the US for Louder Than Life.
Rise To Fall continues the band’s collision of thrash, hardcore and groove following Blindside, which was produced by Alice In Chains guitarist and vocalist William DuVall and recorded to analogue tape.
The four-piece currently consists of vocalist Sean Sterling, guitarist Ethan Kahn, bassist Sebastian De Avila and drummer Cameron Cottrell.
