CKY are headed back to Australia in January for three exclusive headline shows following a cancelled tour appearance.
After a cancelled tour stint left fans hanging, CKY have announced they will return to Australia in January 2026 for three exclusive headline shows. These will mark the band’s first standalone performances on Australian soil since the incident that cut short their involvement in a co-headline run with Alien Ant Farm.
The Pennsylvania outfit, known for their gritty, unpolished approach to hard rock and deep ties to skate culture, are promising a set packed with fan favourites. Tracks like ‘99 Quite Bitter Beings’, ‘Flesh Into Gear’, ‘Escape From Hellview’ and ‘Familiar Realm’ remain touchstones of early-2000s punk rock and a staple of skate videos and Jackass episodes that defined a generation.
CKY’s impact on modern punk and alt-rock continues to ripple outward, with artists like Polyphia recently covering their material and citing the band as a formative influence. Their sound remains as relevant as ever: dirty, riff-heavy, and unconcerned with trends.
The upcoming January dates come after a turbulent period for the band. Though they were originally slated to appear alongside Alien Ant Farm earlier this year, a now-infamous alleged altercation between the bands forced their withdrawal from that run. The newly announced trio of shows offers a second chance for Australian fans to catch the band live.
