Dave Navarro Marries Vanessa DuBasso in Gothic- Inspired Wedding

Dave Navarro has tied the knot for the fourth time, marrying actor Vanessa DuBasso over the weekend in a gothic-inspired wedding held at Dunskey Estate in Scotland.

The venue — a remote Edwardian castle surrounded by forest and sea — matched the couple’s vision of a moody, dreamlike setting. The pair exchanged handwritten vows in the woods, under chandeliers hung from the trees, with gold candelabras at the altar and white roses lining the aisle. “We wanted it to feel like a dream,” Navarro told PEOPLE. “Something otherworldly.”

DuBasso echoed the sentiment, describing the space as “ethereal” and “like stepping into a fairytale.” Scenes from the weekend shared on social media showed the couple skeet shooting in the countryside, dining outdoors, and watching fireworks to cap it off.

Navarro, now 56, is best known for his work with Jane’s Addiction and Red Hot Chili Peppers. But he’s also kept busy with other creative outlets. In recent years, he’s performed with NHC — a short-lived project with Taylor Hawkins and Chris Chaney. He has also hinted at possible visual art and fashion collaborations in the future. Navarro has also continued his involvement in Ink Master, where he served as host and producer across multiple seasons. His focus has shifted more to creative direction than constant touring.

There’s been talk of Jane’s Addiction working on new music, although Perry Farrell doesn’t appear to be involved in the sessions. The band’s current status remains unclear, but Navarro’s role as a visual and sonic curator seems more active than ever.

This wedding, then, fits the pattern — personal style front and centre, with a heavy lean into mood and symbolism. Whether it leads to a musical shift remains to be seen, but as far as Navarro’s public persona goes, the message remains consistent: keep it mysterious and keep it beautiful.
